Life sucks

tigrisI think I finally resigned myself, listening to GW's speach today, that there will not be any ATTEMPT by GW to find a diplomatic solution. He doesn't CARE about diplomacy. He doesn't CARE about hurting civilians. He just wants more war. It's not enought that he's already taken us to war once, he wants to do it AGAIN. Perhaps, if he's so big on war, we can talk him into declaring war on Microsoft until their OS stops crashing. Oh wait - their rich - that means GW is already in microsoft's pocket. Massive worm infects Windows 2000 systems all over the country, trashing servers. Yippee... Sibe is back. It's looking like the video card on the laptop is bad, so I've moved my email to the cube. I had 15 new messages immediately. At this point I'm not sure it will come back. I had my teeth drilled on by the dentist and all kinds of needles stuck in me... Can't get the scanner to work. Can't get the fax machine to work. My dog died - wait... I've never owned a dog in my life...? :)
Well, in other news we're doing too bad financially even with my being out of work - we're living on Tanan's tax refund. I still owe Uncle Sam $800. Tanan brought home an Imation Superdisk drive and a firewire 3.5" Magneto Optical drive - very cool stuff. I really don't think anyone will ever send me something on one of those mediums - just like I never seen anyone use ZIP disks - but it's still really cool to have. Heh.... toys. I've been playing Alice on medium difficulty - practicing. I've been using Arthur - the flat panel iMac - it can do all the 3d rendering at maximum quality, resolution, and colors without slowing down - the end result is really very neat.
