Saw Brother Bear
Nov. 2nd, 2003 10:54 pmWent and saw 'Brother Bear' with
dv_girl,
centauress, and Tanan today. I went in expecting something totally horrible, which is the jist I had gotten from
perrrfect_angel, and as a result actually liked it. It had way too much Phil Collins in it, and it was really preachy at the start, but it started to get better as the movie went on, and it even got to me emotionally in one spot. All in all I think I'd go see it again and even get the soundtrack.
And how's this for geeky - I got to take apart
chipuni's brand new top-of-the=line 15" aluminum powerbook today and put it back together again. But I felt bad because I lost a screw. But it's a nice peice of hardware. But not nearly as easy to service as the TiBook. We're back to all these tiny screws that have to come out. But in all fairness it wasn't nearly as bad as the origonal 'toilet seat' iBook or the white dual-USB iBook. Those were just horrid. This one was only slightly worse that the tibook - more screws to take out. Otherwise everything was fairly easy to get to. Don't even need to take the machine apart to change the airport card.
