Let's see, busy few days. What's happened since Wednesday...
Well, touched off by my anti-pc angsting, Shaunpup (BrooklynX) came down from Sacramento to take a look at the disobedient machine. We discontinued the use of ChipUni's old motherboard, and put the new Tyan Tiger motherboard in, and after he fiddled with the BIOS settings, made it work!
Shaun: "It works!"
Me: "Cool! What did you do?"
Shaun: "I dunno."
So it works now.... but I have no idea what was wrong with it! The only downside is that for some reason Renegade won't run. Oh well.
I went on a cleaning rampage Thursday, mopped every non-carpet floor in the house, cleaned a whole bunch of stuff out of the livingroom and the entryway.
Saturday was busy. Got up early, rode the ACE special from Tracy to Santa Clara. Then went to the FC picnic and was generally social for about an hour. I've realized that I miss being around those friends. I hardly ever have the chance to hang out socially with my gargoyles friends most of the year, so my furry friends have become close friends that I have found I want to spend more and more time with.
Anyhow, saw Kenny Mitchroney and his mom for a few minutes and then went home. May do baseball with his mom later this week.
Put my old NVIDIA GeForce MX 200 into Tanan's gaming PC, and it seems to be happy there.
