Tigris takes a deep swig of wine, and types 'format c:' into the pc.
Alendria says, "What!!!!"
Alendria says, "You cannot jump to FORMAT C: as step one!"
Alendria says, "You must first re-install Windows 95 and then get frustrated and buy a copy of XP which doesn't work with your liscense and then go back and spend more money and buy a different version of XP"
Alendria says, "And then you must buy a new graphics card, audio card, memory and processor so you can run it."
Alendria says, "Than you find out that it's not compatible with your printer and scanner drivers and you must buy those."
Alendria says, "and then you find out that the game you wan ted ot play which was the whole reason for which you got his computer will not run in XP."
Alendria says, "then you try to uninstall it and it corrupts every file you've ever owned including some burned ot DVD and stored in a foreign country."
Alendria says, "then and ONLY then may you type FORMAT C: and start over."

More Anti-PC angst

You know, the reason I hate PCs really has little to do with Windows. Yes, windows is crappy, but MacOS has bugs too. You wanna know why I hate PCs?

*points at her PC* THAT'S WHY!

I've replaced the motherboard - TWICE - gotten it new processors, new video card, new sound card, new drives, new RAM... It's not even the same machine anymore!

AND IT STILL WON'T WORK!

Even with the updated video card, both motherboards boot into newly installed win98se and immediately panic reboot. This panic reboot cycle will continue infinitely, or until you unplug the PC.

If there is anyone out there - anyone at all - who knows anything about PCs, help!
