There is no longer any Disney in Disney - only marketing rats and Heir Eisner. It's not totally unexpected that Roy Disney - the only Disney left in the massive entertainment giant - left, after all he was over the retirement age, but also because he disagreed to grievously with Heir Eisner's business decisions. I guess this means it's official - all the magic is now gone from Disney - topping our number one megacorp on the "Evil Empires" list. Most of the great animators have been let go, all the animation desks replaced with computers, as the drones of Mos Eisner produce cheesy cheap sequels. Keep an eye out for the last of the really good animation - "Mickey Mouse's Three Musketeers" - going directly to video (supposedly, this is all under discussion at the moment) sometime in the next year (we hope). Last I heard former Further Confusion GOH Giant Dave/David "Davy Crockett" Feiten was working on the new Thom Hanks picture (the one after 'Polar Express' that is being sub-codirected by the former Further Confusion GOH Kenny Mitchroney). Last I heard of Floyd Norman (one of the last great animators from Disney) he was working on the Curious George movie. I guess Disney really is on the way out of the big picture animation market. So now the question becomes, which studio has the power to really re-grab the Disney magic for themselves? From what I hear from Kenny Mitchroney, it's not Dreamworks. We'll have to see what the future holds. (Reference Link)

In the first day of December, when my ears are already bleeding from all the stupid Christmas music that I've heard ten thousand times before, I get assaulted with the litany of news about "National AIDS Day". While I suppose this is a good thing - I have at least two friends that I know of that are living with HIV - but just how much recognition did the 5th Annual Transgender Day of Remembrance get back on Thursday, November 20th? None, that I heard. *HEAVY SIGH*

After running around doing errands like a little mad kitty, I've been stuffing Yarf!s in envelopes for the next mailing. I want to get 68 and 69 shipped before I start on issue 70.

*POKES EDEN* This is your reminder - I need stuff for issue 70! Kitty's the only one that has new art for issue 70 so far. I need stuff from you, Netlady, and Ylla, if possible. More Puppy Pack Pics! :) And if you get the chance, poke some of the other Puppy Pack artists for pics. *poke poke pokie*

The deadline for issue #70 is January 10. Got Furry art you wanna get noticed? Submit!
