Some days you should stay in bed

The A's lost three straight against Boston and got cut. A year's going to games, following them, and excitement - squandered. I feel so totally crushed. We heard about all the Red Sox fans celebrating and I told Tanan to turn the radio off.

We got a parking violation while visiting Lisa at her place in Berkeley, and we may get a parking ticket out of it. If so, we can't afford to pay it, and may wind up having the car impounded and losing it before it's even a little bit paid off.

Lastly, but not least, a gargs friend posted this link. It's marriage protection week, 2003. I had hoped that, like Canada, America would also legalize gay marriage, so there goes all my dreams of ever getting married to anyone any time soon.
