labor day BBQ

Went to a big fall BBQ with Kenny Mitchroney and his wife Beth. Roger and his wife, and parents were there, along with actor Mike Quinn and SO Karen Prell of pupeteering fame, Jeff Pidgeon (animator with Pixar) and his SO Anita, and Dave "Davy Crocket" Feighten, were all gathered together, and we ate until we were ready to explode. I found out that Anita was also an Invader Zim fan, and I showed her my AVI file of "Backseat Drivers From Beyond the Stars". I told Anita about Bloodshadow, and she gave me the name of an agent to submit Bloodshadow to, and the instructions through which to do so that I will need to pass on to Leva Cygnet. Beth spent the whole time ranting to me that I couldn't be a writer unless I knew Split Infinitive was. (I'm pretty sure I know, just that it's been a long time since high school.) The only problem with the evening was that dinner started at eight-thirty PM, and we didn't get to bed until two AM this morning.

A's continue to win games. They currently have a nine game winning streak and are two games AHEAD of Seattle. Very cool.
